For a program, project, or person to receive funding from the CSPG Educational Trust Fund, it must meet the following criteria:
• Advance petroleum geoscientific education.
The CSPG ETF allocates funding through the following means:
• providing bursaries, scholarships, field study grants
• donations to Canadian universities
• grants to organizations that meet the requirements as a “qualified donee” under the Income Tax Act (Canada) and undertake to fulfill the ETF’s purpose through its programs and activities
The CSPG ETF will not fund programs or activities that are outside of its purpose as defined by the Deed, or that are commercial in nature (i.e. income generating).

ETF Funding Application
The CSPG ETF’s trustees meet monthly and completed Applications will be considered on a quarterly basis following receipt of the application. Applicants will be contacted within two weeks following that meeting.
