Workers in the petroleum industry are typically highly knowledgeable in a specific discipline; however, they also need to be familiar with a variety of other subjects. This series of talks presents basic information on some of these related topics.

The talks are introductory and assume no knowledge of the topic. They are intended for anyone in the petroleum industry – individuals might be very familiar with some of the topics but not others.

The talks will be presented by Ben McKenzie, Senior Exploration Analyst at Canadian Discovery Ltd. Ben has been working in geology for over 40 years. His experience ranges from working with a state geological survey to both major and junior oil companies to geological service companies.
