This is the third time CSPG is running this sell out event and there will be an entirely new selection of wines being presented.

What makes wine taste the way it does? How much influence does the geology have on the terroir, or “sense of place” in which the grapes are cultivated? Do the minerals in the soil affect the bouquet? To find out the answer to these questions, and to gauge the impact of geology on climate, slope angle and orientation, and soil development, as well as the reservoir engineering aspects of groundwater plumbing, you should plan to attend this premier wine tasting event. Six wines have been carefully selected to showcase the widest possible diversity of flavors and geological settings, and you can learn about the rocks from your geological guide, Jon Noad, and the wines themselves from COOP sommelier Andrew Paulsen. Don’t miss this chance to tickle your palate while you investigate wine from a novel, geological perspective.
