University Outreach Program

The CSPG Outreach Committee was formed in 2002 to augment links between the CSPG and Canadian university earth science departments. We aim to help attract university geology students to the petroleum industry or related government and academic positions. During its short life, Outreach has had considerable success in organizing lecture tours across Canada, starting a student chapters program, donating core to various universities, and representing the CSPG at all student conferences.
