Notice of Special Resolution:
TAKE NOTICE that a special resolution of the Members of the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (the "Corporation") will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting to be held at The Fairmont Palliser, on December 8th, at 4:00pm, as follows:
To consider and, if deemed advisable, pass the following special resolution:
“BE IT RESOLVED as a special resolution of the members that Article 1 of the Articles of Incorporation is amended to change the name of the Corporation to “Canadian Energy Geoscience Association”
CSPG Annual General Meeting
The Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Voting Members, on:

The Fairmont Palliser, Banff Room, 133 9 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 2M3
Commencing at 4:00pm
This event will be held for the following purposes:
- To receive a financial update on the CSPG
- To appoint the Auditors for fiscal 2023
- To receive notice of the election of Directors
- To receive the report of the 2022 President
If you ARE able to attend:
Following the AGM there will networking hour with refreshments.
If you cannot attend in person but would like to cast your vote; CSPG would appreciate you assigning your proxy to the 2022 President-Elect, Simon Haynes or another CSPG voting member in good standing. An email will be sent to all Voting members with a form that will allow them to assign their proxy for the AGM and special resolution.

*All members of the society are eligible to come to the AGM but only Voting Member Types (Full, Honorary, Emeritus, Recent Graduate) will have their presence counted towards quorum.
